Beeutiful pairs with Doris & Dude’s bee socks

I met James from Doris & Dude at Autumn Fair last September. Doris & Dude is a small West Country accessories company based in Newquay.

Designed in their home town their socks are inspired by nature and a love of the great outdoors, so you will find a lot of animals, birds and insects in their designs. A family business they consider themselves very fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful place. When they’re not busy thinking up quirky new sock designs James and his family can often be found with their friends having fun at the beach, walking the coast path to a cosy country pub or enjoying camping weekends by the sea.

Fusing bright colours and funky design with complete comfort and a desire to do their best to preserve our beautiful planet, they use natural materials in their fabrics wherever they can, choosing to use bamboo in their material, both sustainable and functional.

Doris & Dude have created a bee themed sock for the Spring donating 50p from each pair of bee socks sold until the end of May to the British Bee Keeping Association’s new schools learning Apiary. This fantastic project aims to teach different groups (but particularly school children) about the importance of bees, issues around food security and the fragility of our environment.
So impressed was I by the socks I got from Doris & Dude, declaring them the “most comfy socks ever” I have teamed with Doris & Dude to offer one lucky winner a bundle of Doris & Dude and Beeutiful goodies worth £60. More information on this competition coming very soon. Till then check out these fabulous socks www.dorisanddude.com
