Beeswax wraps are now everywhere, every supermarket stocks them, every plastic free zero waste store sells them so rather than add to the pile of pre-made wax wraps I thought I’d provide you with a kit to make your own.

Each kit contains four pieces of cotton material, two sheets of greaseproof paper, a paint brush & the all-important beeswax block – a blend of beeswax, jojoba & coconut oils. All you need to add is a hot oven, a baking tray & a grater.

Taking just a few minutes to do, these kits are the perfect activity to do with the children, educating future generations on what our planet needs, less disposable plastic, & provide a long term solution to cling film.

The cotton in our kits is supplied by local dressmaking/sewing businesses who have no use for these sizable off cuts. We have made use of them rather than them ending up in landfill. These means when you buy a DIY kit you do not know what the colour or design the cotton will be. We think this adds to the fun & adds to the ethics of these kits. We do always ensure the colours in each kit are varied so you would not have four wraps of the same design in one kit – that would be far too boring!
